Two attractive clean energy stocks for 2025
I've been following a solar company called Nextracker (NXT), which designs and makes ground-based intelligent solar tracking equipment. I've been hesitant to buy much of anything lately, but shares of NXT are reasonably attractive right now. It first came on my radar as an almost perpetual stock in the Magic Formula screener for the past year or so. I also keep seeing mentions of Fluence Energy (FLNC), which prompted me to take a look. Fluence specializes in battery storage solutions as well as software for managing renewable energy. At first glance, it doesn't look cheap at all compared to NXT, but battery storage will be a huge growth story as AI and EV adoption continues. As to why these two stocks in particular? Both have manufacturing based in the U.S., which will present a competitive advantage when and if the Trump administration enforces tariffs on foreign manufactured goods.
There's no shortage of bullish articles on Seeking Alpha for each:

I will look to start a position in each stock by selling near ATM puts, to attempt to acquire them at a slight discount.
